Manchester City are looking to reward the 24-year-old following the best season of his career so far and bump his wages from £200,000-a-week up to match those of the club’s top earners Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne – who are on £375,000-a-week, according to The Sun. They add that they will look to work on the new deal with Foden and his representatives before the beginning of the new season in order to ward off any big-name suitors such as Real Madrid.
