The “soul tree” in Japan bears a striking resemblance to the one depicted in the movie Avatar.

Like in the Hollywood blockbuster film “Avatar” in 3D, Japan possesses the earthly version of the mesmerizing soul tree, adorned with vibrant shades of purple, blue, and radiant white.

Ashikaga Flower Park in Ashikaga, Japan is home to hundreds of enchanting and captivating flower species, including the Wisteria flower that bears a striking resemblance to the fictional soul tree featured in the popular blockbuster Avatar.

One of the largest and most renowned Wisteria trees in Ashikaga Flower Park is the 100-year-old Fugi tree, with its long, sprawling branches forming a magnificent, purple-hued canopy resembling a colossal umbrella.

Due to the enchanting beauty of the Wisteria flowers, Japan has expanded the cultivation area for these soulful trees to over 1000 square meters in Ashikaga Flower Park.

The park staff takes great care to train the branches of the Wisteria trees to grow downwards, creating a fairy-tale-like beauty reminiscent of the enchanting world of fairy tales. This meticulous effort has mesmerized visitors every time they come to admire the captivating display.
