Extraordinary Conversation: Toddler Surprises with Adult-Like Verbal Skills in Heartwarming Interaction

The common perception is that infants are cute and endearing. They react to things in an innocent manner and are least affected by the stressful lives of adults. However, presumably few of you are aware that babies can sometimes speak like older children.

A one-year-old child named Eryn Fitzgerald recently provided evidence for this claim. Even though she was small and had not yet learned how to speak effectively, she was still able to communicate with her family.

Eryn was recently photographed conversing with her father as if she were an adult. Even though she spoke in her baby language, she did not care whether or not the listener understood her.

Eryn began the conversation by pointing with her fingertips to something. She then folded her fingertips one by one, as if counting something. Finally, she folded her hands as if she expected a response from her father.

He responded, “You’re kidding me,” to which Eryn continued her discussion in her baby language. Her father once intervened when she slowed her speech by inquiring, “Then what?” This prompted Eryn to continue speaking.

Her father exclaimed “Unbelievable” after she scratched her cranium for a while. Naturally, this delighted the infant, who continued to babble as if complaining to her father. Nonetheless, the father exhibited patience throughout the conversation.

After finishing her conversation with her father, she sat down on the ground as if fatigued. Babies have topics of conversation with their carers. Their inability to speak is the only factor preventing them from communicating plainly
