24-year-old Brenda Coelho de Souza gave birth to her daughter Agata Ribeiro Coelho on April 5 at the Santa Monica hospital in Brazil.
Soon after being born, Agata was brought next to her mother’s face, and the bond was instantaneous.
The initial meeting between a parent and their child is an indelible moment.
For Brenda, an administrative assistant, the memory of her first encounter with her baby girl is one that will stay with her forever. As they both lay down with their eyes closed, the embrace they shared was undeniably filled with love.
“The medical team was wonderful and quite astonished by her behavior. They couldn’t believe how affectionate she was towards me,” Brenda remarked.
Now, Agata is a thriving three-month-old, and the deep feelings of love continue to bind this family together.
“I love being a mother,” Brenda said.
