However, Monet doesn’t stop there. Through her posts, she shares the emotions, thoughts, and experiences of mothers who have given birth to their first, second, or third child.
The photographer recently posted six images capturing a mother giving birth at home. According to the young mother, she delivered in her own bed, precisely where she had slept and rested a few hours before.
They had rested and unwound in this very bed the night before. Subsequently, in the early morning hours, she commenced giving birth in this identical bed. Following the birth, they all convened in this bed to build a connection, to rest, nurture, and cherish.
In the vibrant mid-morning, sunlight streamed into their bedroom. Even now, as I sit on the couch or recline in my bed, I гeсаɩɩ the day my baby was born in our home. There’s a profound and ordinary quality to that realization, isn’t there? The idea that we can be born in the very spaces we cherish, where we rest, ѕtгᴜɡɡɩe, clean, and dance – much like humans did millennia ago,” Monet wrote in her post.
