After more than 200 sightings of flying objects, the mystery of the UFO “hotspot” has been resolved.

Between March and April 2020 alone, there were 192 reported ufo sightings in Yorkshire. In total, there have been more than 200 reported cases of UFO encounters recorded in the area over the years.

The most recent UFO encounter occurred on June 9 this year in Leeds, West Yorkshire when two thin, black and long curved triangles were seen flying overhead in the air and then stopped in the middle of the sky at around 12.55am, Yorkshire Live reported.

Brian, a local mystery investigator, claims to have stumbled upon several UFOs while exploring abandoned buildings at night.

According to the Daily Mail, local investigators including Brian suggest that the abundance of abandoned military bases in Yorkshire may have been the cause of the site’s UFOs” being turned into a UFO hotspot.

“They (UFOs) were drawn to Yorkshire because the peak we were at was at a height that was superior to other parts of the country. In addition, there is ample space and a series of abandoned, unused old military bases,” Brian said.

“There are hundreds of military bases, bunkers, airfields of the British Air Force (RAF)… Abandoned. A lot of these places aren’t known to people because they’re well hidden,” Brian said.

“Mostly these sites are only sought out by urban explorers, paranormal enthusiasts who come to shoot videos, or people who love history and believe in UFOs coming to explore,” Brian added.

The mystery investigator also said that just a few weeks ago, his team discovered four UFOs in one night. Brian said it couldn’t be commercial aircraft “because they’re flying in the same straight line right next to each other.”

Ellen Dean, who lives in the village of Fearby, also revealed that she witnessed mysterious lights in her back garden in March 2020 and believed it was not from a low-flying aircraft from an RAF station or lanterns.

Ash Ellis, a local conspiracy theorist who owns a UFO Identified website that publishes UFO stories and reports, said Yorkshire has many military bases and can attract UFOs.Brian, a local mystery investigator, claims to have stumbled upon several UFOs while exploring abandoned buildings at night.
