“Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have concluded their divorce settlement, dividing multiple properties as part of the agreement reached on Monday. One notable transfer involves West relinquishing the title of a $4.5 million property he purchased next to Kardashian’s Southern California home after their separation last year. Kardashian, now the owner of the five-bedroom home spanning 3,650 sq. feet, is expected to demolish it due to its need for extensive renovations.
Apart from the neighboring property, Kardashian retains rights to the $60 million estate in Hidden Hills, California, where she resides with their children, as well as other properties in Idaho. West, on the other hand, retains ownership of several assets, including a $60 million Malibu beach home, two Wyoming ranches, 300 acres in Calabasas, California, a home in Belgium, and the Chicago home of his upbringing.
The divorce settlement also entails West agreeing to pay Kardashian $200,000 monthly in child support, with joint custody and ‘equal access’ to their four children – North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three. Kardashian is expected to have custody of the children most of the time, while West will be responsible for 50 percent of educational and security expenses.
The agreement, which includes a waiver of spousal support, marks the end of a contentious two-year divorce battle. Mediated by Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser, the settlement forestalled the need for a deposition and an impending trial.
Recent reports suggest that Kanye’s behavior, including wearing a White Lives Matter T-shirt, has strained his relationship with Kim, leading to limited communication. Despite the challenges, the settlement brings closure to a legal saga that began with their separation in February 2021.”
