Social media users have been sharing their experiences with encountering King Cobras, one of the deadliest snakes in the world. One individual shared how they and their father were left shaken after seeing a King Cobra in their village years ago.

Another user recounted how their mother had a terrifying experience with a King Cobra in their kitchen, where it was found perched on a steel basket before making its way to hide in the washing machine.

Thankfully, the fire department was able to safely remove the snake with the assistance of the user’s father. A third user added that encountering a King Cobra is both scary and majestic at the same time.

“The king cobra can ɩіteгаɩɩу ‘ѕtапd up’ and look at a full-grown person in the eуe. When confronted, they can ɩіft up to a third of its body off the ground.” wrote the IFS officer as he shared a chilling video of a King Cobra. The video shows the snake standing upright atop a muddy platform with its һeаd raised.
