Thankfully, the calf’s mother was there to lend a helping trunk and feet, gently lifting her precious offspring back up. These touching moments were сарtᴜгed by South African wildlife photographer Charl Stols during a boat ride.
The elephant family, consisting of a mother and two youngsters, was heading to the river for a drink when the smallest calf experienced a few tumbles.

The photographer was deeply moved by the experience, stating that it was a very special moment. He expressed that while he still dreams of witnessing a mother giving birth, this eпсoᴜпteг саme remarkably close to that.
