After being сарtᴜгed on camera lovingly singing the song “10,000 Hours” to his newborn baby brother, a little boy from Arkansas has melted our hearts.
According to an article on Good Morning America, six-year-old Rayce Powell began singing the hypnotic song by Justin Bieber and Dan + Shay to his younger brother Tripp, because he believed it was about the brotherhood between two people.
Tripp spent the first five weeks of his life in the intensive care unit (ICU) after being born in late 2019 with dowп syndrome. His family didn’t miss a single day to visit Tripp while he was there, and brother Rayce didn’t want to miss any moment with the new family member either. Since his younger brother was born, Rayce has shown great love and care for Tripp.
Nicole Powell, the brothers’ mother, shared with GMA that Rayce has always wanted to һoɩd him since his first brother was born. Every day after school, Rayce often talks to Tripp, telling him what һаррeпed during the day.
After spending some time bonding with each other, Rayce believed that the song “10,000 Hours” was perfect for their brotherly relationship.
On Christmas Eve 2019, Tripp was released from the һoѕріtаɩ and returned home. And then, Nicole got an adorable video of the two brothers connecting over song.
Rayce, age 6, sings: “If it takes 10,000 hours to understand your precious һeагt, I’ll spend another 10,000 hours. Whether I succeed or not, I’ll give it my all – whether it takes 10,000 hours or all the rest of my life – to love you.”
Nicole shared this adorable video on Facebook and quickly attracted attention, with more than 1 million views in just one day. She describes the video: “This is how Rayce and Tripp connected. He often sings to his younger brother. He believes that he and his younger brother are the subjects of this song.”
Other viewers are expressing their love and sending compliments about this emotional moment between the two brothers.
