Cardi B and Offset have “No Limit.”
The two rappers first sparked roɱaпce rumors in February 2017 when they attended Super Bowl LI together. In October of that year, Offset proposed to the “WAP” artist during Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. However, this was after the couple had secretly wed on Sept. 20, 2017.
During an interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, Cardi said she “never would’ve thought” that she’d marry a member of Migos.
“We’re very different from each other. Yin and yang for real,” she added. “But one thing that we like both love, we both love family. We are each other’s support system. I know that he backs me up a hundred percent and I back him up a hundred percent.”
Cardi and Offset have since welcomed two kids: a daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, and a son, Wave Set Cephus.
The two seem to have a hot-and-cold relationship, with Offset saying, “She always got my back, right or wrong. We both are on the same mission to make each other better,” just a month before accusing her of cheating. He later admitted that Cardi didn’t cheat on him.
Despite having “a lot of love for each other,” the pair have had an on-again, off-again relationship. Cardi announced their split in 2018 and, after reconciling, Cardi filed for divorce in September 2020, which they later called off. In December 2023, Cardi B shared on Instagram Live that she was single again and her relationship with Offset had ended a while ago.
From their first date to the birth of their kids, here’s everything to know about Cardi B and Offset’s relationship.

February 5, 2017: Cardi B and Offset go on their first date
It all started back in February 2017 when Cardi and Offset embarked on their inaugural date to Super Bowl LI. Reflecting on the moment during a 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show, Offset shared, ‘My first date, I went all out. I wanted to do something unconventional, you know? I wanted it to be memorable and fun… So, I decided to take her to the Super Bowl.’
“I told my publicist to tell him because I was very shy, ‘Listen, if we gonna go on a public date together, you cannot make me look like a dumbass after this,’” Cardi told GQ. “And he was like, ‘No, I really like her. I’m really feeling her.’ We was talking, we was making out. We didn’t f—.”
Things escalated after the annual event, considering the couple’s respective power status. “After the Super Bowl, it got really serious because I feel, like, all eyes on us,” she said in the same interview.
And just like that, it was official: On Oct. 27, 2017, the Migos rapper got down on one knee and popped the question (with a larger-than-life sparkler in hand!) to his love in the middle of a Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia — and she said yes.
“I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you,” Cardi wrote on Instagram following the surprise proposal. “Lets make a lot shmoney and love together.”

Two months after his public proposal, Offset was caught in the center of a cheating scandal after videos surfaced showing the rapper in bed with multiple women. While he refused to address the allegations in his Rolling Stone interview, Offset reminded the reporter that it’s his “real life.” He added: “It ain’t no gig. It ain’t no f—— game, you know what I’m saying?”
Cardi, on the other hand, took a much more direct approach by tweeting her thoughts on the matter. “No, it’s not right for a [n—-] to cheat…But what you want me to do?” she wrote. “Go f— me another n—-? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This s— happens to everyone and I be too, you too…People handle they relationship different soo.”
