Kourtney Kardashian poked fun at the infamous moment her sister Kim Kardashian lost her $75,000 diamond in the ocean on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The 44-year-old reality television star took to Instagram on Sunday to share new bikini-clad beach photos with her 224 million followers, posing in open clear, blue water.
Quoting her younger sister, 43, in the 2011 season six episode, Kourtney wrote in the caption: ‘My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it’s gone.’
Momager Kris Jenner got in on the joke as she — along with plenty of her daughter’s followers — quoted Kourtney’s famous reply, writing: ‘Kourtney there are people that are dying ….’

The snaps featured a busty Kourtney in a black two-piece swimsuit that included a classic triangle top with spaghetti-thin straps.
The firstborn of the Kardashian-Jenner clan flashed her big smile in the makeup-free photos.
The water was above her waistline and her dark hair was slicked back, wet from her dip in the water.
And a pair of black sunglasses were set atop her head in the two snapshots uploaded to her Instagram grid.
She shared the post in her Stories, adding a thoughtful message to new mothers.
‘Dear new mommies, Your body is beautiful at all stages. During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting,’ she wrote.
It comes five months after the POOSH founder welcomed her fourth child — her first with husband Travis Barker, son Rocky 13.
She added, ‘If you’re breastfeeding, that’s a whole other part of it. I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal.’
