Giving birth to your first child is a remarkable blessing, and it becomes even more joyful when your identical twin sister is also experiencing it at the same time. Today’s story revolves around identical twins Jill Justiniani and Erin Cheplick, both 30 years old and from California. On May 5, 2022, they gave birth to their first two children, two handsome boys who arrived a few hours apart and weighed the same.
The babies, Oliver and Silas, were both born weighing 7.3 pounds and measuring 50.8 centimeters tall. The sisters were overjoyed to have their first children together, and they welcomed them at Kaiser Permanente һoѕріtаɩ in Anaheim.
Jill and Erin spoke to PEOPLE Magazine about the аmаzіпɡ journey they had been on. Jill expressed, “It just feels like it was supposed to be. It is a little surprising because what are the oddѕ? But it’s like, of course this would happen to us.”
Jill was expected to have her baby on May 5th, while Erin was expected to have hers on May 15th. However, fate had other plans, and Erin’s water Ьгoke on the morning of May 5th. Erin immediately called her husband, Zach, and informed him about the situation. She then called Jill to share the news, and they both headed to the labor and delivery together.
This loving and adorable family is looking forward to creating wonderful memories together. She said, “That’s just another really special thing for our sons — they’re going to have a sense of closeness that they can also rely on each other the way that my sister and I did.”
Reflecting on their relationship, Jill shared childhood memories, saying, “We played together, slept together, ate together. My parents would talk about how we had our own language together. We’d be in our cribs side by side and make these cooing sounds. I’d make a sound, and Erin would respond.” She added, “We’re each other’s best friends, and to know that our sons are going to grow up with the opportunity for a similar experience is a huge blessing.”
