This moment was of an osprey was transporting a stick back to its nest when suddenly a red-winged blackbird decided to tag along. The image amazingly captures the perfect angle of this compassionate scene, it’s really unbelievable!
Unsurprisingly to us, when she posted the picture online, it became viral right away. According to Anderson “The osprey adjusted its course so it was flying towards me and I could see that the osprey was carrying a stick for its nest,”
Further, she continues, “The blackbird continued its chasing, and at one point it looked like the blackbird was going for a ride on the stick. I was surprised that the blackbird followed the osprey halfway across the pond; I like to think the blackbird was enjoying the free ride.”
Astonishing photographs like this are what make Jocelyn Anderson’s ability as a photographer noteworthy. “Bird photography is a challenge, but it’s a wonderful one and a great way to get a glimpse into their world.”
It truly is wonderful! We human beings can definitely learn a thing or two from these magnificent and considerate creatures of nature.
