A remarkable event took place in Nebraska, where a 61-year-old grandmother gave birth to her own granddaughter.
The grandmother, Cecile Eledge, volunteered to be a surrogate for her son, Matthew Eledge, and his husband, Elliot Dougherty.
When the couple considered in vitro fertilization (IVF) as an option for having a child, Cecile offered to be their surrogate, expressing her love for being pregnant and her willingness to do it аɡаіп if possible.
The couple consulted with a reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Carolyn Maud Dougherty, who confirmed that Cecile was in remarkable health and fully capable of carrying a baby to full term.
