The eagle even attempted to carry the boy away.
The boy sustained minor facial injuries. Thankfully, he was wearing a hoodie that protected his head, preventing more severe harm.
Alice Springs Desert Park has apologized to the boy’s family and is conducting an investigation into the unfortunate incident.
