Trailblazing Talents: 13-Year-Old Nigerian Sensation Builds Borno Flyover Bridge Clone from Clay, Garners Scholarship for Overseas Education in Civil Engineering

A 13-year-old Nigerian boy, Musa Sani, renowned for constructing a replica of the Borno flyover bridge, has secured a scholarship to pursue Civil Engineering at a university in the United States. The imaginative teenager gained widespread attention in 2021 for building a clay soil replica of a flyover bridge in Borno, North-East Nigeria. The news of Musa’s scholarship to study at any university in the US was announced by Omasoro Ovie, a Nigerian man who initially shared Musa’s inspiring story.

Ovie disclosed that the scholarship includes an employment offer for Musa’s father from the sponsors. Additionally, the sponsors pledged to financially support Musa’s mother’s business with N1 million, аѕѕіѕt his siblings through their education, and secure a new apartment for the family.

In the post, Ovie stated, “Roche Global Resources will also employ Musa Sani’s father and provide the mother with N1 million to start a business. The family will receive assistance in securing a new apartment. The firm will support all of the boy’s siblings through their education, and Musa will be granted a university scholarship to the USA.”

In the wake of his innovation, Musa received a N5 million scholarship from Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State to facilitate his high school education.

Governor Zulum disclosed that the Education Trust Fund (ETF) Chairman had presented Musa with a N5 million cheque, already delivered to a private school in Borno.
