Kristian Laine is an Australian freediver and underwater photographer. One day, he decided to go for shooting at Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier Reef. It was indeed a lucky day; he spotted a unique manta with a rose-colored underside. It was the world’s only known pink manta ray!
“I had no idea there were pink mantas in the world, so I was confused and thought my strobes were broken or doing something weird,” Laine told.
Here are some photos of this magnificent fish.
#1. This fish is truly one of a kind.
#2. It looks like a creature from a Disney sci-fi movie.
#3. Getting some sunshine!
#4. Wish I could see this fish with my own eyes.
#5. Glorious, indeed.
