Khanyisa, the orphaned albino baby elephant, resides at the elephant sanctuary “HERD” in South Africa, a haven dedicated to caring for orphaned and displaced elephant calves. Under the nurturing care of Adine Roode, these majestic creatures find solace and support as they integrate into the Jabulani herd.
Khanyisa eagerly devoured the plentiful marula fruit offered by Adine each morning, her endearing and playful demeanor prompting her to keep her mouth open for feeding by her favorite human. With anticipation, she patiently awaited Reply and Stavros, who faithfully delivered her milk bottles. Upon her arrival at the sanctuary, Khanyisa weighed 124 kgs.
